Zara and Circ’s latest collaboration includes four items, made using 100% Lyocell fabric made by Circ.
Breaking down blends of polyester and cotton – referred to as “polycotton” – is one of the biggest challenges for the fashion industry when it comes to creating new garments from recycled textile waste.
Circ claims its fabric is “the only in-market platform to successfully separate polycotton blended textile waste and recover both cellulosic and synthetic fibres.”
The items are designed with a natural look and feel and are available in the US and selected other markets.

Circ has been working with Zara since 2022, when its parent company Inditex invested in the circular fashion start-up.
The funding was set to help the company continue its commercial launches with key partners and add core team members in engineering, R&D, management, and business development.
Last year, Zara and Circ released a collection of womenswear made with textiles derived from breaking down blends of polyester and cotton into new recycled raw materials.
