Wunderkind Corp., a New York-based technology marketing agency, announced Monday it is expanding its footprint in Central Indiana nearly a year after acquiring the Indianapolis-based digital marketing firm Smarter HQ.
The company plans to hire 125 new employees by the end of 2022. The jobs will have a base salary range of $99,000 to $100,000.
In a news release, Wunderkind, which produces marketing campaigns for customers like Sam’s Club, Bloomingdales, DSW and QVC, said it's expanding because it wants to leverage the region's talent pipeline. The company plans to hire 15 workers before the end of this year and another 100 over the course of next year.
The open positions include tech services and support and campaign engineers.
“Last year, we said we wanted to join forces with SmarterHQ so we could supercharge our clients’ e-commerce growth, but the global market responded even better than expected to our merged product offerings and we did some supercharged growth ourselves,” CEO and president Michael Osborne said in a news release. “We couldn’t be more pleased with how things have been and where they’re going.”
Wunderkind acquired SmarterHQ in November 2020, soon after announcing that it would establish a presence in Indianapolis.
The company now employs about 120 people in Indianapolis and leases the third and fourth floors of the Century Building at 36 S. Pennsylvania St. Wunderkind utilizes a hybrid-remote model that requires employees to be in the office about two-and-half days a week.
