THE BIG STORY

[bs-title]Dilma Rousseff gets suspended[/bs-title]

[bs-content]It's been a rough week for Dilma Rousseff. First, the embattled Brazilian president faced a vote on the impeachment process. Then, it looked like she would avoid one. But yesterday, the vote took place, allowing a political trial against her to go ahead. Rousseff, who was suspended from office, is alleged to have violated budget laws. She vowed to "never stop fighting." The trial could last for months, which means she could still be suspended during the Olympics, which kick off in Rio on Aug. 5.[/bs-content][bs-link link="http://www.bbc.com/news/world-latin-america-36273916" source="BBC"]
