GATINEAU, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Dec 7, 2015) - Department of Canadian Heritage
You can be part of the biggest winter party of the year! The Department of Canadian Heritage invites residents of the National Capital Region to volunteer for the 38th edition of Winterlude, which will be held January 29 to February 15, 2016.
Join the flurry of fun and become a volunteer at Winterlude! Get involved in your community, come and have a unique experience, come and help as an Information Officer, Activity Assistant, Crowd Control or Slide Assistant or even dress up as one of our favourite Ice Hogs.
Metro is the exclusive sponsor of the Volunteer Program.
A complete list and description of Winterlude volunteer opportunities is available at www.winterlude.gc.ca. Please note that to be a volunteer at Jacques-Cartier Park, you will need to be able to express yourself in French, and we are especially interested in finding people who are available on weekdays (Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays).
Still have questions? Contact Canadian Heritage's Volunteer Centre at 819-956-2626 or send an e-mail to benevoles.volunteers@pch.gc.ca.
