Wings and Rings is launching a new restaurant brand in Cincinnati.
The team behind the sports restaurant franchise said in a release Wednesday they will also start offering their chicken next year in a fast-casual brand of eateries called "Noble Chicken."
"While we bring the same experience and same chicken expertise you expect at Wings and Rings, Noble Chicken is a completely different experience," a spokesperson for the brand told The Enquirer in an email.
Unlike Wings and Rings, Noble Chicken locations will not be full-service restaurants and instead cater "to those families and individuals that want the same great quality and bold flavors you'd expect from Wings and Rings but want it faster and easier to take to their homes," the email reads.
The Noble Chicken brand will also have a "completely different feel" than Wings and Rings. The restaurant brand is inspired by vintage Americana.
The menu will feature dishes inspired by regions of the United States that one might encounter on a cross-country road trip. This includes chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, wings, salads, hushpuppies with flavors of the Gulf Coast, Nashville hot coleslaw and hatch chile macaroni and cheese.
The restauranteurs plan to open their flagship location in Eastgate in early 2025 and then franchise the brand.
If you can't wait until then, don't fret. Jungle Jim's supermarket in Eastgate currently houses a "non-traditional" Noble Chicken location with some similar menu options.
Wings and Rings was founded in Cincinnati in 1984 and now has 85 units across the globe, according to a release from the company.
