Williams Earnings, Revenue beat in Q3

Investing.com - Williams (NYSE:WMB) reported third quarter earnings that beat analyst's expectations on Wednesday and revenue that topped forecasts.

The firm reported earnings per share of $0.24 on revenue of $2.3B. Analysts polled by Investing.com forecast EPS of $0.21 on revenue of $2.24B. That compared to EPS of $0.36 on revenue of $1.89B in the same period a year earlier. The company had reported EPS of $0.17 on revenue of $2.09B in the previous quarter.

For the year, Williams shares are down 20.2%, under-performing the S&P 500 which is up 1.04% year to date.

On Tuesday, PetroChina ADR reported third quarter EPS of $1.65 on revenue of $86.35B, compared to forecasts of EPS of $1.55 on revenue of $91.07B.

Total ADR earnings beat analyst's expectations on Friday, with third quarter EPS of $1.47 on revenue of $48.4B. Investing.com analysts expected EPS of $1.41 on revenue of $48.86B
