GREEN BAY − A limo company has relocated after its owner received an offer for the land in March, and construction has started for a new project.

Mike Bultman, owner of Bultman Limousine, said he decided to sell the site at 2296 Manitowoc Road after Indianhead Oil LLC — parent company of Holiday and Circle K gas stations — made him an offer he couldn't refuse.

Indianhead Oil purchased the lot where the limousine business was and the one next to it in February and March for $555,000 and $700,000, respectively, county land records show.

A new Holiday or Circle K station is now in the works for the former limo business site.

David Buck, Green Bay's principal planner for the department of community and economic development, confirmed that the land was recently rezoned — a process that recategorizes land based on city zoning ordinances to develop it — and Holiday requested a demolition permit.

Two weeks ago, trees were removed on the property, while last week construction crews started demolishing the former buildings.

Buck said the company hasn't submitted a site plan for construction yet.

Holiday was acquired in 2017 by Alimentation Couche-Tard, a Canadian multinational operator of convenience stores that also manages the Circle K brand.

Both Circle K and Holiday gas stations also offer food like pizza, sandwiches, burgers, coffee and other drinks, carwash services and reward programs.

Indianhead Oil recently opened two Circle Ks in the Green Bay area, with one at 585 Mike McCarthy Way at the corner of South Ashland Frontage Road in Ashwaubenon and the other at 1536 Silverstone Trail in the town of Ledgeview.

Bultman said he will continue to operate Bultman Limousine from Joe Rouer's Bar, E1098 County Road X, in Luxemburg.
