India's Union Budget for 2016-2017 will be presented on Monday, Feb 29, 2016. The country's Railway Budget will be presented on Feb 25, while the Economic Survey will be tabled on Feb 26.
Narendra Modi's invitations and initiatives are attracting the attention of the whole world and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley will be keen to woo in investors to cash in on the euphoria.
The Modi government was voted to power on the promise of rapid development, low prices, job-creation, better infrastructure, reduction in tax burden, and reforms in education, healthcare, FDI, etc.
A lot has already been announced and flagged off. Will Jaitley be able to keep the momentum going?
Speak out. Here’s your chance to tell the Finance Minister what you expect from him.
Write to Arun Jaitley asking him to do what you think is best for you and the economy. Do you want lower taxes? Would you like to see more stock market reforms? Or would you prefer a tempered-down budget that focuses less on popular sops and more on development drives?
Please post your comments, suggestions, demands, wish-list below, telling Mr Jaitley what the ideal Budget should be like.
