West Holmes FAA competes in dairy judging
On Sept. 10, the West Holmes FFA dairy judging team competed at the Wayne County Fair dairy judging contest.
Wyatt Schlauch placed first with 455 points, Laina Croskey placed third with 419 points and John Maloney was just outside of the Top 5 with a 371.
The students participated in six classes with heifers and cows, and were evaluated on dairy strength and showing quality of the animal.
