Anticipation has been building for Walt Disney Co (NYSE: DIS)'s latest installment of the the storied "Star Wars" franchise, "Episode 7: The Force Awakens."

As with any big movie release, its trailer is an event in and of itself. While previews have been released, a full-length trailer had yet to be seen until Monday night.

Disney-owned ESPN finally showed the full, 2 1/2-minute trailer during halftime of "Monday Night Football" and the buzz surrounding the movie hasn't stopped. "MNF" is one of the week's top-rated programs and enticing moviegoers and fanatics when the game isn't even being played surely brought more eyeballs.
