Feb 26 - U.S. Stock futures edged higher pre-bell on Wednesday as investors positioned ahead of Nvidia's (NVDA, Financial) earnings report, according to a Wednesday press release. S&P 500 futures advanced about 0.5%, Nasdaq futures climbed roughly 0.8%, and Dow Jones futures inched up around 0.2%, said the release.

Asian markets mirrored the positive sentiment, with Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index surging 3.3% amid robust property and tech-share rallies, and Bangkok's SET Index rising 2% following a central bank rate cut, the release said. European bourses also tracked higher at midday, reflecting renewed investor optimism across regions.

In related premarket action, beverage giant Anheuser-Busch InBev shares were up 7.3% after Q4 earnings surpassed outlooks, while Super Micro Computer (SMCI, Financial shares soared 25% after meeting an SEC deadline for financial filings.

Several major earnings reports are set to be released before the bell, including those from TJX, Lowe's, and Verisk Analytics, the release said. The economic calendar features key data points, with the weekly MBA mortgage applications bulletin at 7 a.m. ET, followed by the January new home sales report at 10 a.m. and speeches by Fed officials scheduled throughout the morning.
