Waggin Tail Kennels in Scott Twp. under new ownership
Oct. 2—The new owner of Waggin Tail Kennels doesn't plan to stray from the business model.
Jackie Grunza, who took over the business Sept. 20, attended Johnson College's veterinary technician program and worked for an area veterinarian before purchasing the kennel.
"I don't want to change anything because people have been coming here for a long time," Grunza said. "I don't want to upset any apple carts."
Grunza looks forward to serving clients.
"It's what I feel like I was meant to be doing and I finally was able to make it happen," she said.
Janet K. DeGrazio and Paula J. Casper, now by marriage as Paula J. Zuraski, sold the property at 476 Justus Blvd. to Jaclyn A. Grunza for $585,500, according to a deed recorded Sept. 28.
