Vehicle crashes through wall of doctor's office

Nov. 10—A vehicle slammed into the office of Mountain Laurel Dermatology in Clyde, busting a hole in the wall but luckily resulting in no injuries.

The crash happened late Thursday morning, with the office reopening for business by Thursday afternoon.

According to an employee in the front office, the car crashed into an empty conference room. Employees said they felt the impact of the crash rattle the building.

The driver apparently meant to hit their brakes but hit the gas instead, according to NC Highway Patrol reports. The vehicle was removed from the building and towed away shortly after the incident.
