The 18th Busan International Film Festival
The 18th Busan International Film Festival, the largest film festival in Asia, will be held for 10 days from October 3 to 12, 2013. During the film festival, the audience can enjoy 301 films in different genres and nationalities from 70 countries at the Busan Cinema Center and theaters in Haeundae, Busan.
Audiences will have chances to take part in a variety of affiliated programs and events in which they can meet and communicate with film professionals and popular stars in different venues including Busan Cinema Center, BIFF Village on the Haeundae Beach and BIFF Square in Nampo-dong, Busan.
During the film festival, the BIFF organizing committee will operate diverse programs, including the Asian Film Academy (AFA), Asian Cinema Fund (ACF), and Asian Film Market (AFM), to assist and support films production for film directors in Korea and Asia.

The 9th Busan Fireworks Festival
The 9th Busan Fireworks Festival will be held on October 25~26 in Busan. This world's top-class fireworks festival is expected to attract 1.5 million local and foreign tourists around the world.
First held in 2005 in celebration of the 2005 APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting in Busan, the Busan Fireworks Festival has been held annually near Gwangan Bridge landmark area attracting more than 1 million audiences every year.
Also, marking the 50th anniversary of its elevation to a metropolitan city, the organizing committee will hold Eve of the Festival and concert on October 25 at the BEXCO Auditorium under the theme of 'Love of 50 Years, Busan!', and it will show fireworks on October 26 on the Gwangalli Beach.
Local and foreign tourists will be hypnotized by colorful splendors that will be unfolded in the Busan Fireworks Festival.
