SAN DIEGO, Sept 26 (Reuters) - The United Steelworkers union (USW) plans to propose a three-year contract to begin in 2019 for 30,000 refinery, chemical plant and pipeline workers, said Kim Nibarger, chairman of the national oil bargaining program.
Nibarger said the union seeks a "mutually beneficial" agreement with the oil industry to come out of talks in January 2019 and not a repeat of the strike in 2015.
