Union recommends rejecting Boeing defense labor contract in St. Louis

July 16 (Reuters) - The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers union representing employees at three Boeing defense locations in the St. Louis area said in a statement on Saturday that it recommended rejecting the company's "last, best, and final" contract offer.
The union represents nearly 2,500 workers at the three locations. Members are to vote on the contract offer on July 24, the union said. (Reporting by Jose Joseph in Bengaluru; Editing by Leslie Adler)
