Freitag-Weinhardt Inc. on Tuesday announced its president, Mark Unger, has been selected by his peers to serve as president of the Statewide Mechanical Contractors Association of Indiana.
Unger has been with Freitag-Weinhardt for more than three decades and served as president for the past 16 years. His leadership and commitment have been instrumental in the company’s growth and success.
His roles in the Terre Haute community include board member with the Terre Haute Economic Development Corp, Terre Haute Boys and Girls Club, Local Pension Plan, Health and Welfare Trade Association and chairman of the Education Trust Committee.
As newly elected president of the association, he will serve a two-year term, during which he will oversee the governance of the Indiana state board.
“I am honored to have been elected as president of the Mechanical Contractors Association of Indiana,” said Unger. “This role provides a unique opportunity to not only advance our industry but also to positively impact our local communities."
