UL Solutions, a US-based product safety and certification company, has unveiled its new retail and consumer products laboratory in Ningbo, China.

The new 5,388sqm laboratory boosts efficiency, enhances response times, and offers local expertise for manufacturers in Greater China. Furthermore, it addresses the rising retail and consumer product industry demand.

UL Solutions strengthens its presence in the Yangtze River Delta, a major retail and consumer goods manufacturing hub, with this new laboratory situated close to its existing Shanghai facility.

The new Ningbo lab offers comprehensive, streamlined testing (safety, quality, performance, chemical) for textiles, footwear, furniture, and electronics packaging. Additionally, enhanced features like furniture flammability testing support the entire product lifecycle.
