U.S. stock index futures trended slightly lower Friday with the S&P 500 Futures down 2.50 points to 1946.25 points while the Nasdaq Futures edged down 3.20 points to 3814.30 points.
The economic calendar is sparse and features just the University of Michigan’s sentiment index at 9.55 a.m. Eastern Time.
Video-camera maker GoPro was up over 3% before the opening bell. The stock jumped on its debut yesterday as it closed up 30% higher over its listing price.
Also active in re-market, Nike was up about 3% following its earnings announced after the market close yesterday.
Manitowoc surged over 12% on a New York Times report that activist investment firm Relational Investors is seeking to break up the company.
Earlier Friday, Asian markets ended mixed. European markets were on positive turf midday.
