"The U.S. Conference of Mayors is committed to passage of bipartisan criminal justice reform legislation this year. We applaud the successful efforts of a bipartisan group of senators to negotiate some revisions to the Senate bill that make it a better bill that can garner even more bipartisan support. We urge Senate leaders to bring the bill to the Senate floor as quickly as possible."
The U.S. Conference of Mayors is the official nonpartisan organization of cities with populations of 30,000 or more.
