Dining options continue to expand in Lower Makefield’s newest upcoming shopping center.
Duck Donuts and La Grange, a casual French brasserie, are both slated to join Wegmans, as part of Prickett Preserve at Edgewood, a mixed-use development currently under construction across the street from Shady Brook Farm off Stony Hill Road.
The Prickett Preserve project includes plans for additional restaurants and retail stores, as well as a 200-unit luxury apartment community, and is being developed by DeLuca Homes, Equus Capital Partners and Envision Land Use.

Marc Bank, from David M. Bank Real Estate, the leasing representative for the retail portion of Prickett Preserve, said the shopping center provides 30,000-square feet of new space, which can be configured to fit a number of different retailers.
“The interest has been strong,” he said of working to secure more tenants. “We’re confident in leasing the remainder of the project.”
Here’s a breakdown of all that’s coming to Prickett Preserve so far:
Casual French dining at La Grange
La Grange, a new restaurant concept by the owners of La Stalla in Newtown, will offer a casual French experience, said Marc Masso, who owns La Stalla with his father, Vincent Masso.
“La Grange will be to French what La Stalla is to Italian — casual, but with stylish and chic food and ambiance,” he said.
The restaurant will go into an existing stone barn on the Prickett Preserve site, where Bank said work to renovate and expand the structure will begin in the next 30 days.
Plans for the restaurant include a glass-enclosed addition, outdoor patio dining, fireplace and a full bar, said Masso. Lunch and dinner will be served seven days a week, with a weekend brunch offered Saturdays and Sundays.
With construction having not yet begun, an opening date hasn’t been set, but Masso said he hopes to launch this year in the late summer or early fall.
Duck Donuts building a presence in Bucks County
Duck Donuts signed a lease last month for a 1,025-square foot space next door to Firebirds Wood Fired Grill, Bank said.
In addition to joining Prickett Preserve, Duck Donuts announced last month they are coming to the Shops at Valley Square in Warrington.
No opening date has been set for either location.
Duck Donuts, which started in 2007 in the Outer Banks in Duck, North Carolina, has since expanded its franchise to more than 100 locations across the country, where they offer made-to-order donuts with a selection of various coatings, toppings and drizzles to choose from.
