When Hurricane Ida devastated southern Louisiana in 2021, Lady of the Sea Hospital was significantly damaged, losing part of its roof to severe wind. While Lady of the Sea’s new 78,000 square foot facility is under construction, the hospital continues to provide care in a modular facility until the building opens.
