Targa Telematics has announced a partnership with Toyota Motors Europe, making the carmaker an official OEM-connected data partner. The collaboration will see Targa Telematics integrate connected vehicle data from Toyota and Lexus models across Europe, enhancing its suite of digital mobility solutions.
The agreement enables direct integration of fleet data streams into Targa Telematics’ platform, leveraging real-time vehicle information such as mileage, fuel consumption, EV metrics, and GPS positioning — without requiring additional hardware installations.
With this initiative, Targa Telematics aims to strengthen its position in OEM data management, rolling out services across key European markets including the UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, and the Nordic countries. The partnership aligns with Targa Telematics’ strategy of streamlining data-driven mobility services while reducing the complexity and costs associated with aftermarket solutions.
Alberto Falcione, Vice President for Sales at Targa Telematics, highlighted the importance of manufacturer collaborations in optimising fleet operations and accelerating the deployment of digital services. This latest agreement with Toyota Motors Europe follows similar deals with other major automotive brands.
