TouchShare, Inc. Joins the Esri Partner Network to Improve GIS Collaboration and Visualization Among Esri Users

PASADENA, CA--(Marketwired - April 11, 2014) - TouchShare (formerly known as TouchTable, Inc.), the leader in next-generation geospatial collaboration solutions, is proud to announce its designation as an Esri Silver Tier Partner. Through this partnership, Esri, the market leader in geographic information system (GIS) software, and TouchShare, look to enhance the way in which corporations and organizations discuss, share, analyze and visualize GIS data among distributed teams.

"This is an exciting step for TouchShare," said Bob Pette, TouchShare CEO. "Since the origins of our first geospatial collaboration system, named the TouchTable, Esri has been rooted in our collaboration architecture. Now, as an Esri Silver Tier Partner, we look forward to working with Esri to develop superior solutions that redefine collaboration, communication and understanding during briefings, planning, and critical situations."

"This expanded relationship will benefit both companies' significant customer base in the government, defense, intelligence, emergency management, and energy industries, as well as the broader GIS community," said Esri president Jack Dangermond. "Mobile, desktop and 3D collaborative environments are enabling seamless real-time geospatial data sharing and interaction across an enterprise. We are pleased to partner with TouchShare."

This announcement marks a solid step in implementing TouchShare's roadmap with future developments that integrate with Web Mapping Services such as ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS for Server and other open datasets. Full integration with Esri solutions will be available in two upcoming product releases, a web browser application, named Mobile Access, and a new 3D client that enables unique visualization and analysis of geospatial workflows with pinpoint accuracy. During the Esri International User Conference (UC), TouchShare will debut its new 3D collaboration client alongside Mobile Access and its concept iOS app, Content Exchange. These three applications are the first of many that will revolutionize the way in which GIS users collectively share and make decisions using geospatial information.

"Effective collaboration should involve all your people and tap into all your senses," said Bob Pette. "With the exponential growth in volume and variety of data, we're surrounded by information yet starving for insights. TouchShare addresses this challenge by giving everyone the ability to filter and fuse the 'right' data to make the 'right' decision so teams can more quickly determine a plan of action. As a Gold Sponsor for the Esri Partner Conference, Developer Summit and upcoming Esri UC, we look forward to being part of an exceptional group of GIS innovators that push the development envelope."
