Webb has been president for five years and played a pivotal role in the brand’s continued success. Under his guidance, Duffy’s Sports Grill has continued to thrive as a cornerstone of community engagement, providing a welcoming atmosphere for friends and families to gather, celebrate, and enjoy great food and sports. Duffy's Sports Grill is based in Palm Beach County and operates 30 full-service, casual-dining restaurants throughout Florida.

Boca partner named director of national bar association for Asian Pacific Americans

Weiss Serota Helfman Cole + Bierman partner Alen Hsu recently commenced his term as director of the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association. In this role, Hsu will focus on bolstering member satisfaction, increasing the association's revenue and bottom line, and strengthening the organization and its programs through 2024 and beyond. The association represents the interests of 50,000 attorneys and more than 80 national, state and local Asian Pacific American bar associations. Hsu was installed as director on Nov. 9 at the organization’s annual convention in Seattle.

Morikami Museum chairman receives statewide award

The Florida Association of Museums recently announced Randal Baker as the recipient of its 2024 Outstanding Trustee Award. Baker is board chairman of the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens in Delray Beach. The Outstanding Trustee Award recognizes Baker’s invaluable contributions to the Morikami’s continued success, emphasizing his unwavering commitment to advancing the mission of preserving and sharing Japanese culture in Florida. The mission of the Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens is to engage a diverse audience by presenting Japanese cultural experiences that educate and inspire. Since 1977, the Morikami has been an epicenter for Japanese arts and culture in South Florida.

Delray Beach Housing Authority announces new board members

The Delray Beach Housing Authority recently announced new board members Andrea M. Keiser and Noah Hale. Keiser is the managing partner of Keiser Legal, PLLC, a firm specializing in the counsel and representation of property owners and real estate developers in land use and zoning matters. Hale is the managing director, development for Fairstead’s affordable team overseeing all LIHTC development activities for the firm across 28 states. The members serve an initial four-year term with the ability to be re-appointed for a second four-year term. The Delray Beach Housing Authority is an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for low- and moderate-income families, and providing the opportunity for self-sufficiency by offering safe, quality housing.
