GREENWICH, Conn. (AP) — GREENWICH, Conn. (AP) — Tiptree Financial Inc. (TIPT) on Wednesday reported net income of $5.6 million in its first quarter.

On a per-share basis, the Greenwich, Connecticut-based company said it had net income of 13 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 59 cents per share.

The insurance and specialty finance company posted revenue of $497.4 million in the period.
