COEUR D'ALENE, IDAHO--(Marketwired - Mar 7, 2014) - Timberline Resources Corporation (NYSE MKT:TLR)(TSX VENTURE:TBR) ("Timberline" or the "Company") announced today that it has submitted a plan of compliance (the "Plan") to the NYSE MKT (the "Exchange") addressing how the Company intends to regain compliance with Section 1003(a)(iv) of the NYSE MKT Company Guide (the "Company Guide") by March 31, 2014. Timberline previously announced that it had received notice from the Exchange that the Company was not in compliance with one of the Exchange's continued listing standards. The Exchange is now evaluating the Plan.
In order to maintain its listing on the Exchange, the Exchange had requested that the Company submit a Plan by February 20, 2014 addressing how it intended to regain compliance with Section 1003(a)(iv) of the Company Guide by March 31, 2014. The Exchange granted the Company's request for an extension of the deadline until March 6, 2014, and the Company met that deadline with its submission. The Company intends to release details of the Plan as soon as practicable.
