Teleperformance USA Helps Thousands of Families

SALT LAKE CITY, UT--(Marketwired - February 05, 2014) - Since 2006, Teleperformance employees have played a vital role in improving the lives of thousands of children and families in the United States and around the world. Through their partnership with Feed The Children, Teleperformance's Citizen of the World team provides immediate relief for families in poverty and those affected by natural disasters.

In 2013, Teleperformance USA employees distributed truckloads of food, essentials and other services to thousands of children and families in 14 cities. Teleperformance employees collectively contributed nearly $670,000 in cash and donations and volunteered more than 800 hours. Teleperformance's Global Crisis Fund helped tornado victims in Moore, Oklahoma and provided immediate relief for families in the aftermath of Typhoon Haiyan and a devastating earthquake in the Philippines.

The dedicated employees of Teleperformance have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years to help struggling families across the United States. In the last two years alone, the employees have helped 11,200 families by sponsoring 28 truckloads of food and essentials.

"We are so thankful to Teleperformance and their employees for helping to provide food and essentials to children and their families across the country in 2013," said Erin Engelke, spokesperson for Feed The Children. "Their employee's generosity provide help and hope for thousands of struggling families. We look forward to helping more children and families with the help of Teleperformance in 2014."

More than one in five children living in United States (22 percent) is considered impoverished. The number of impoverished children living in the U.S. (16,319,909) could fill this year's Super Bowl venue at Met Life Stadium more than 197 times.

"I am humbled by the generosity put forth by our employees to help those less fortunate and in need," said Brent Welch, Teleperformance, CEO, English World and Asia Pacific. "This past year, our employees collectively contributed more than $1.5 million to a variety of Citizen of the World initiatives. However, we are particularly proud of our association with Feed the Children to support the organization's wonderful efforts."
