NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Jul 10, 2014) - Winning Brands Corporation (OTC Pink: WNBD) (PINKSHEETS: WNBD) reports that its TrackMoist brand www.TrackMoist.com has performed so well at Winning Brands' largest pilot project to-date, the 2014 Summer X-Games in Austin, Texas, that a range of new TrackMoist projects domestically and internationally has been generated. This includes a striking pilot project completed in Europe yesterday. TrackMoist is mixed with water to moisten & control soil that is used as a "performance surface" in sports and entertainment venues. The treatment preserves desirable surface characteristics while also reducing dust and the frequency of re-watering. This gives participating facilities financial and operational benefits, as well as enhancing their spectator experience.
TrackMoist was the soil-conditioning solution used by contractors responsible for preparing the dirt sports & entertainment surfaces at the 2014 Summer X-Games. Positive feedback across a range of performance metrics there has validated the contribution of TrackMoist to the work of soil surface managers. One gallon of TrackMoist concentrate produces up to 45,000 gallons of treated water and is therefore efficient to transport and use.
The result has been growing awareness of TrackMoist in social media amongst participating athletes/performers and facilities operators, stimulating trial applications in a variety of new settings. Internationally, Phase I of a TrackMoist pilot project in The Netherlands was completed July 9th at the Speedway Blauwhuis facility in Wolsum. The dirt track was prepared 2 days before sprint car racing using TrackMoist. As a result, the facility was able to run ten heat races before additional water maintenance was needed as compared to 2 races previously using untreated water. Speedway Blauwhuis operates its own water truck and has extensive watering experience to make comparative findings. Trials will continue to broaden the base line of results.
U.S. soil conditioning expert Randy Spraggins of Special-T-Tracks in Ohio has now overseen the introduction of TrackMoist to the Built Ford Tough Professional Bull Riding and Monster Jam events for which he is responsible as a standard operating procedure. He is assisting new facilities to develop expertise with this application. Mr. Spraggins comments: "We're getting a whole lot of calls. It's a little hard to keep up with the questions and monitoring the experiences. There's a learning curve for everyone. We seem to be able to improve the quality of the dirt surface through a bit of prep and management. It's satisfying to see positive results. We're taking things one step at a time to do it right -- that's bringing people back for more. An equestrian location in Waco, Texas recently started with a single unit for their trial, and has come back for 4 more units because it worked so well for them. There are positive situations like this happening in RC (Radio Controlled) sports too. It's starting to look pretty good."
