Dar Global, a luxury real estate developer, has awarded Stromek Emirates Foundations the contract for shoring, excavation, and piling works on the new beachfront residential development, 'The Astera, Interiors by Aston Martin', in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

This marks Aston Martin's inaugural foray into interior design within the Middle Eastern real estate sector.

With a gross development value of Dh900m ($245m), The Astera is set on Al Marjan Island in Ras Al Khaimah.

The project will offer a blend of luxury apartments and villas, featuring Aston Martin's design ideas combined with Dar Global's commitment to unique living experiences.

Stromek's work will focus on the stability and sustainability of the foundational elements of The Astera.

This includes preparing the site for construction and ensuring the project adheres to the highest safety and precision standards.

The foundational works are set to commence immediately, marking a milestone in the development's progress.

Dar Global CEO Ziad El Chaar said: “We are thrilled to have Stromek on board for this pivotal phase of 'The Astera' project. Their proven track record of excellence in shoring, excavation, and piling work perfectly aligns with the standards we uphold at Dar Global.

“This collaboration underscores our commitment to working with the best in the industry to deliver world-class luxury developments that will leave a lasting impact.”

Last year, Stromek was contracted by Dar Global for its luxury residence DG1, located on the Dubai Canal.

In June 2024, Dar Global, in partnership with OMRAN Group, awarded an infrastructure contract for the first phase of the AIDA development in Oman to Oman Shapoorji Company. This development is set for completion in 2027.
