AutoZone’s performance in 4Q15 and fiscal 2015

According to AutoZone’s 4Q15 earnings report, net revenue has increased to $3,290.404 million, an increase of 31.9% when compared to the net revenue of $2,493.021 million in 3Q15. Gross profit and EPS (earnings per share) have increased 32.6% and 33.22%, respectively. The company opened 72 domestic stores and 23 stores in Mexico in 4Q15.

In fiscal 2015, the company reported net revenue of $10,187.340 million, an increase of 7.51% on a yearly basis. The company opened 199 new stores in fiscal 2015. Net income and EPS came in at $1,160.241 million and $36.03 per share.

Cash and cash equivalents increased 40.8% to $175.309 million. The current ratio increased to 0.85 in fiscal 2015, an increase of 8.9% compared to the current ratio of 0.78 in fiscal 2014.
