Nov. 14—Clovis High School graduate Angel Altimirano has opened an appliance store and repair shop at 208 N. Mitchell St. in Clovis.

"My shop, Appliance Care, started as a hobby then became full time after a while. I just wanted to help people out, do something good in the community," Altimirano said.

Altimirano's main goal is to help people get good deals on major appliances.

"Washers, dryers, fridges, stoves. I also buy them. I repair them too," Altimirano said.

Altimirano arrived in Clovis about seven years ago.
