The Greek parliament’s failure to select a new president has set the stage for fresh elections early in 2015. Greek stocks dropped on the news while safe-haven German and U.S. bonds rallied.
At midday the Dow and Nasdaq were each up 0.1%, while the S&P 500 was 0.2% higher.
