Ocwen Financial Corp. (OCN) rallied more than 7% on Wednesday, closing the day at 2.27 following a massive selloff in the company's market valuation during the past week when the company announced a higher than expected Q4 loss. Until recently OCN has been trading in a range above 6. The rally experienced yesterday is likely a near term correction that may continue until resistance is tested. Presently RSI for OCN is at 22 on the daily chart, with a substantial increase in trading activity, which may be indicative of a near-term bottom.

Checkpoint Systems Inc. (CKP) rallied more than 29% on Wednesday following news that the company was acquired by Canada's CCL Industries for approximately $422 million. CCL offered to pay $10.15 per share in cash, which represents a premium of 30% to Checkpoint's close on Tuesday. CKP is up more than 97% in 2016 after hitting a low of 5.21 earlier this year. CKP is registering an RSI above 88 as well as having surpassed its 200 DMA.
