Steve Crowley stated, "We are pleased have Ron Pickett, CEO of 'SWET,' as a guest on the American Scene National Radio Program. Our listeners have shown a particular interest in innovative 'green energy' emerging technologies over the years, and we believe that their technology is on track to be leader in this critically important space."
Ron Pickett, CEO of Solar Wind Energy Tower, stated, "To be featured on such an established platform as Steve Crowley's American Scene National Radio Program is very exciting. The opportunity to speak directly with his listeners about our renewable energy technology and how we're paving the way to bring our green energy to industrial and commercial customers throughout California couldn't come at a better time. California is a prime market for the sale of our green power. As such, we are actively pursuing PPA's through several channels including, government RFP's, many public utilities, as well as a vast variety of California corporations and organizations focused on reducing their carbon footprint now and well into the future."
The Company's power production has been designated as "eligible" by the California Energy Commission for its Renewable Portfolio Standard. What that means is that once the AZ Tower is built, the power it generates will qualify for Renewable Energy Credits to be "bundled" with Megawatts and provide incentives for large industrial and commercial purchasers to "Buy Green" power from the Company.
