Denim purveyor Levi Strauss announced a series of leadership changes to accelerate the brand’s shift to omnichannel retailing.
Karyn Hillman’s role as chief product officer has been expanded to include merchandising in addition to design. Hillman is now responsible for the overall vision, priorities and roadmap for Levi’s products and the brand. Jason Gowans’s role also has expanded, and he is now the company’s chief digital and technology officer. Harmit Singh’s chief financial and growth officer role has expanded to include oversight of LS&Co. ’s transformation program to ramp up improvements in the company’s structural economics.
Gianluca Flore, chief commercial officer, has expanded his scope and will now oversee licensing and planning, which will drive alignment between sales and inventory, directive assortment and accountability for inventory management. Bernard Bedon has been appointed as chief human resources Officer, effective March 3. Bedon will report to CEO Michelle Gass and will join the company’s executive leadership team. Liz O’Neill, chief operations officer, announced her intention to retire from LS&Co. after nearly 12 years.
Italian luxury group Prada announced the appointment of Silvia Onofri as chief executive officer of Miu Miu, effective Feb. 26. Onofri joins from the VF Corp-owned outerwear label, Napapijri, where she served as brand president since 2023. She began her career at Bulgari, assuming roles of increasing responsibility at Bally before becoming CEO of EMEA and then chief commercial officer of global wholesale. Onofri will report to Prada Group CEO Andrea Guerra.
Innerwear giant Hanesbrands announced Steve Bratspies will depart as CEO at the end of 2025 or upon the appointment of his successor. Bratspies will step down from the board of directors concurrent with the end of his tenure as CEO. He will stay in an advisory role once a new CEO is named to support a smooth transition. The board started its comprehensive search to identify the next CEO and retained Spencer Stuart, an executive search firm, to help.
Wolverine Worldwide has named Brett Parent as chief strategy officer. In this newly created role, Parent will develop and drive the company’s enterprise strategy as well as assess growth opportunities for the company’s brand portfolio. Parent joined Wolverine Worldwide’s direct-to-consumer division nearly two decades ago and has since held a variety of leadership positions across the organization.
Hiking footwear brand Merrell has named Richard McLeod as chief marketing officer. Reporting to Janice Tennant, global brand president, McLeod will lead Merrell’s global marketing and direct the creation of modern integrated marketing capabilities to cement further the brand’s position as a leader in the outdoor active and lifestyle space. McLeod most recently served as Champion’s vice president, chief marketing officer, where he led strategy development and enhanced Champion’s market presence. Prior to Champion, he was senior vice president of brand at Canada Goose, responsible for brand evolution, growth and performance.
British boot brand Dr. Martens has appointed Robert Hanson and Benoit Vauchy as non-executive directors, effective March 26. Hanson is an experienced executive, having served as CEO of John Hardy and American Eagle Outfitters and previously spent over a decade in senior roles at Levi Strauss & Co. Benoit is a Partner at the company’s largest investor, the global investment firm Permira, where he is a member of the investment and executive committees.
Luxury group Capri Holdings Limited has promoted Philippa Newman to serve as chief brand and product officer. In this expanded role, Newman will oversee all product and marketing functions, focusing on delivering a unified brand experience while driving engagement across all touchpoints. She will continue reporting directly to John D. Idol, chairman and CEO of Capri Holdings and Michael Kors. Newman has been with Michael Kors for over 16 years, most recently serving as the chief product officer where she has already taken a pivotal role in driving product innovation and shaping our strategy for growth.
Tailored Brands has named Whit Alexander as executive vice president and chief customer officer, effective Feb. 24. Alexander joins Tailored Brands with experience across consumer analytics, performance marketing and brand strategy. He will serve on the company’s executive committee and report to CEO Peter Sachse. Alexander will be responsible for growth and overseeing the enterprise data analytics and strategy functions.

Direct-to-consumer platform Phoenix announced Greg Scott will join the company as chief executive officer. In this role, Scott will oversee all DTC operations in the United States, including retail stores and e-commerce for Express and Bonobos. He brings over 30 years of relevant experience, previously serving as CEO of New York & Company and as chief merchandising officer of Fashion Nova.
Post-purchase intelligence platform Narvar announced the appointments of Tracey Solanas as senior vice president of global sales and Mohan Achar as vice president of global customer success and support. Both Solanas and Achar will report to Harish Mohan, president and chief revenue officer. They will drive Narvar’s go-to-market strategy, strengthening customer relationships and accelerating the company’s momentum in the space.

B2B marketplace for excess inventory Max Retail has appointed former Moda Operandi chief financial officer Hoddi Hafsteinsson as CFO. Hafsteinsson joins as the company continues to scale operations, and his appointment will drive expansion into AI-powered inventory management, new product lines, territories and categories. While at Moda Operandi, Hafsteinsson raised over $250 million in growth capital and led the luxury platform’s expansion into Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

AI platform Motive has named Adam Block as chief revenue officer. In this role, Block will oversee global revenue and go-to-market functions, including sales, business development, strategy, operations, sales engineering and partnerships. He previously served as vice president at Meedallia before joining Motive two years ago.

The largest shipping association in North America, Gemini Shippers Association, has expanded its commercial team with the appointments of Aimee Goldman as commercial director and Janet Torres as inside sales analyst. Goldman has 25 years of relevant experience and most recently served as senior manager of international transportation for Kirkland’s Home. Torres will support existing members and drive business development through inside sales.

Supply chain and fulfillment platform ShipBob hired ex-HubSpot executive vice president Jeetu Mahtani as chief revenue officer. Mahtani joins with over 25 years of experience leading GTM teams across sales, customer success and partner ecosystems. In this role, Mahtani will focus on driving revenue by identifying and closing new merchants and expanding services with ShipBob over time, improving the complete customer journey.
To drive its business expansion in the United States, Hyosung has appointed Malvina Hoxha as its new U.S. director of marketing. Hoxha will direct the company’s stateside marketing team in the promotion of Hyosung’s specialty fibers and fabrics to targeted brand and retail accounts. Additionally, she will manage joint development and promotional programs with key partners.
