Toronto-based outdoor brand Canada Goose has named Judit Bankus as senior vice president of merchandising. Bankus will oversee the development and execution of global merchandising and pricing strategies, guiding growth across old and new product categories. She will collaborate closely with creative director Haider Ackermann and report to Carrie Baker, president of brand and commercial. Bankus joins after two decades in the international luxury space, most recently serving as chief merchandising officer at Stella McCartney. She previously spent eight years at Burberry—under both Christopher Bailey and Riccardo Tisci—and helped establish the Karl Lagerfeld brand.

German shoe brand Birkenstock announced the appointment of Ivica Krolo as chief financial officer of the group. He succeeds Erik Massmann, who stepped down today. Krolo joins from EMH Partners, a growth investment firm focused on owner-managed technology companies, where he has served as partner and CFO since 2015. Massmann and Krolo will jointly present the first fiscal quarter 2025 financial results during the conference call scheduled for later this month.
The board of directors of Punto Fa, Mango’s parent company, approved the appointment of the company’s current CEO, Toni Ruiz, as chairman of Mango. Ruiz will maintain his responsibilities as CEO and add those of chairman of the board. Also announced was the appointment of Jonathan Andic as vice chairman of Punto Fa’s board of directors. Manel Adell was named as a new independent board member of Punto FA as well. Finally, the board of Mango MNG Holding SAU has appointed Jonathan Andic as chairman, and Judith Andic and Sarah Andic as vice chairwomen.
Luxury label Gucci has named Christophe Marque as its new president and CEO of Gucci Americas, effective April 1, Sourcing Journal’s sister publication WWD reported. He succeeds Federico Turconi, who exited last October. Marque brings 25 years of relevant retail and merchandising management experience and will report to chief commercial officer Cayetano Fabry.
Canadian outdoor-wear purveyor Arc’teryx has announced several leadership appointments, Sourcing Journal’s sister publication Footwear News reported. Nike veteran Matt Bolte joins as chief merchandising officer, and Vans’ vet Marissa Pardini as general manager of its Veilance brand. Ben Stubbington, who most recently was the senior vice president of design for Lululemon, will assume Veilance’s creative director role.
The OTB Group announced that Maison Margiela has named Glenn Martens as its new creative director, succeeding John Galliano, who left the brand in December. Since 2020, Martens has served as the creative director of Diesel, also owned by the OTB Group. He also spent 11 years as creative director of the Y/Project, leaving before the shuttering earlier this month.
British fashion designer Kim Jones resigned as artistic director for menswear at Christian Dior Couture. Jones held the position for seven years. A week before his resignation, Jones was decorated with France’s highest civilian decoration following Dior’s fall 2025 menswear show.
Freitag Lab AG’s board of directors is transferring operational leadership of the company to Janine Weiz-Bühler—a business economist with relevant international experience—who will take over the Zurich-based bag manufacturer’s operational management next month. Weiz-Bühler’s most recent role was as director of brand and product for Calida, where she was also a part of the executive management team. Prior to that, she spent several years as managing director of an Austrian textile firm.

Annette Parker
Lifestyle brand Eastside Golf has named Annette Parker as its first head of marketing. Parker joins from the Creative Artists Agency (CAA), where she spent over eight years managing sports marketing partnerships and helping the agency’s golf business. Parker will lead marketing initiatives and brand storytelling alongside Eastside’s co-founders, CEO Earl Cooper and creative director Olajuwon Ajanaku, in this newly-created role.
Lingerie leader Victoria’s Secret announced that its chief financial and administrative officer, Timothy “TJ” Johnson, is retiring in June. As such, Scott Sekella has been appointed chief financial officer. He most recently served as CFO of fabric and crafts retailer Joann and previously held financial leadership roles at Under Armour and Crocs.

Online apparel retailer Custom Ink announced that Ben Litvinas was named chief data and analytics officer (CDAO). In this new role, Litvinas will consolidate Custom Ink’s data and analytics operations to evolve the company’s data strategy, governance and shared skill set. He will also work across the business to leverage machine learning and artificial intelligence.
AI-powered supply chain solution provider Inspectorio has named Elizabeth “Liz” Pulos as head of compliance, sustainability and traceability innovation. Pulos most recently served as director of global sustainability at Converse, where she created the Nike-owned brand’s first enterprise sustainability strategy. In this role, Pulos will draw upon her expertise in compliance and sustainability to help guide Inspectorio’s product development, advise on go-to-market strategy and enhance collaborative efforts between brands and their suppliers.

Global e-commerce provider ESW announced the appointment of Tonia Luykx as chief revenue officer. She will be based in ESW’s Dublin headquarters and report directly to CEO Eric Eichmann. Luykx brings more than 20 years of expertise in sales and leadership to the role. Luykx previously held positions of increasing importance at Sift. Before that, she served as head of Amazon Pay Ireland for Amazon Pay UK and Ireland.
Higg Index developer Cascale has expanded its membership engagement team, naming Alexandra Rieger as senior director, manufacturer membership, and Joleen Ong as senior director, brand and retail membership. Rieger and Ong bring extensive expertise in sustainability, supply chain dynamics and human rights, which will strengthen Cascale’s capacity to deliver meaningful support and drive impactful outcomes.
