SFC Capital emerges as most active VC in H1 European deals
Halfway through the year, UK seed-stage dealmaker SFC Capital tops the list of the most active venture capital firms investing in European deals.
Even before Q2 has wrapped up, Europe's venture ecosystem notched its first quarterly increase in total capital raised since Q1 2022.
As of June 15, €16.2 billion had been invested for the quarter compared with €13.2 billion in Q1, PitchBook data shows. Deal count still remains lower so far, at 1,575, and is unlikely to exceed Q1's figure of 2,615.
