Whether investors believe in the old saying "sell in May and go away" or not, studies have shown that stock returns from May to October have been generally lower than those between November to April.

From May onwards, there are also several risk events to watch out for, including Fed policy decisions, U.K.'s EU referendum and U.S. presidential elections that could see a victory for Donald Trump . Global economic growth may also disappoint.

With all this in mind, what would you most likely be selling in May?
