ImageWare Systems Joins Amazon Web Services Partner Network to Offer Multi-Modal Biometric Authentication

ImageWare leverages the AWS infrastructure to provide Reliable, Scalable and Performance-Driven GoMobile Interactive Cloud Service as a SaaS Solution

ImageWare Systems, Inc. (OTCQB: IWSY), a leader in mobile and cloud-based, multi-modal biometric identity management solutions, has become a Technology Partner in the AWS Partner Network (APN). IWS will be providing its GoMobile Interactive® cloud service to GoVerifyID® mobile app users by leveraging the global scale, reliability and security of Amazon Web Services (AWS).

AWS delivers a collection of cloud computing services that make up the on-demand computing platform. ImageWare will now build on AWS to offer GoMobile Interactive® as a SaaS solution across multiple geographic regions. Building on AWS allows ImageWare to leverage a variety of different services that AWS offers, such as the Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2), a service that allows users to rent virtual compute capacity to run their own applications; Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), a product that provides developers and IT teams with secure cloud storage; and the Amazon Route 53, a highly-scalable cloud domain name system web service; among other AWS offerings.

"Qualifying for the APN builds upon our commercial collaboration strategy and significantly increases our market exposure," said Jim Miller, ImageWare's Chairman and CEO. "We will benefit from the business, technical, and marketing support that AWS provides to its APN members, as well as AWS' expansive geographical footprint. We will also benefit from the scalability and cost-effectiveness of the AWS platform as we take advantage of AWS advanced capabilities to provide multi-modal biometric identity verification to users on their mobile devices."
