Jul. 14—TUPELO — A Lee County woman is facing a felony fraud charge after she allegedly stole a credit card and used it herself.
The Tupelo Police Department served the warrant July 11 on Kayla D. Long, 36, of Indian Village Lane, Saltillo. She was already in the Lee County Adult Jail after being picked up on felony drug charges the week before.
Long's arrest stems from a complaint by her alleged victim from earlier this year. Police report that a victim came forward and accused Long of stealing their credit card and using it without permission at a local business.
The evidence was presented to a Lee County grand jury, which issued a capias warrant on the felony charge of credit card fraud.
Long is being held on a $5,000 grand jury bond on the new charge.
