RunningFlat announces the new Run For Heroes Marathon Medal design.
The World Alzheimer's Day Run For Heroes Marathon has been awarded top 10 medal in running over the past number of years. The run takes place in historic Amherstburg and actually runs through Parks Canada's Fort Malden -- an 1812 Battle Fort. "Our medals have that Red Coat Blue Coat war of 1812 theme to them and this year is no exception," explains Chris Uszynski race director. This year medal and shirts will feature a canon firing on them with the Union Jack and Stars and Stripes in the background.
The World Alzheimer's Day Run For Heroes Marathon is Canada's most southern Boston Qualifier Marathon and has been named "The place to Boston Qualify in Canada" two years in a row according to iRUN Magazine. In its 4th year, this marathon is all about the runner and their family celebrating the heroes that inspire us.
"The Run For Heroes Marathon Weekend has a run/walk for everyone," said Uszynski.
Each child must register on line at www.runningflat.com. They must register at no cost, download the pledge form and follow the instructions and fill out their activity. Bring the form and money to the race and finish their Marathon.
