Marriott International's luxury hotel brand The Ritz-Carlton has debuted in Bangkok, Thailand, introducing new immersive cultural experiences.
Set within a 216m-high tower at One Bangkok, the hotel offers views of Lumpini Park and the city skyline.
Marriott International Luxury president Tina Edmundson said: “The opening of The Ritz-Carlton, Bangkok is a pivotal milestone for our brand, as we introduce the finest personalised service and unforgettable experiences to one of Southeast Asia’s most vibrant and culturally rich destinations.
“By seamlessly blending Thailand’s deep cultural heritage with The Ritz-Carlton’s timeless elegance and forward-thinking design, we are not only enhancing the city’s luxury landscape but also offering guests an experience that is both authentic and transformative.”
The building, designed by US-based SOM and Thailand’s A49 architects, boasts a facade with open-air terraces.
In addition, Thai interior design studio PIA has interwoven the legacy of the Ritz-Carlton with Thai culture into the hotel's design.
The hotel's accommodation options include 50m² Deluxe Rooms, 102m² Gardenia Suites, the 127m² Marigold and Amaranth Suites, and the Ritz-Carlton Suite, a 389m² penthouse, which sits atop the hotel.
The Ritz-Carlton Bangkok general manager Tina Liu said: “As the first Ritz-Carlton property in Bangkok, we bring local traditions and culture alive through imaginative, immersive experiences, including performances, activities, and artistic journeys.
“Our stays are designed to create memorable moments that resonate with our guests, paying homage to Thailand’s ‘cultural bloom’ – the evolution from its graceful past to its exciting future.”
With five daily culinary presentations, The Club Lounge on the 23rd floor is part of The Ritz-Carlton Club experience. It includes a dedicated Club Concierge and bespoke in-room amenities.
The hotel also offers three dining experiences and the Ritz-Carlton Spa, featuring five treatment rooms, a fitness centre and two swimming pools.
For events, the Ritz-Carlton Grand Ballroom can host up to 1,200 guests, with nine additional flexible function spaces available for various occasions.
