As a spokesperson for Yosha Cook & Tisch noted, the upcoming video webcast will examine key topics like discovery/depositions, admission of testimony, and direct and cross-examination. The seminar, which is designed for attorneys and paralegals, will also offer expert advice on how to go about finding and hiring the best expert for a particular case.

"Do you know how to properly present or challenge expert testimony? What questions and questioning techniques work best in depositions or during trial?" asked the spokesperson, adding that the upcoming comprehensive seminar will provide attorneys with practical insights on using their experts to full advantage - while preventing the opposing party from doing the same.

Attendees will also learn how to vet potential experts and get advice on what they need from attorneys, hear strategies for directing expert testimony in a certain direction, and find ways to protect the expert from falling into figurative traps that are set by the opposing counsel.

As a trial attorney and civil litigation advocate, Cook is definitely well-qualified to be part of the upcoming seminar. After graduating from law school, Cook worked as a law clerk for the Honorable Andrew P. Rodovich, who was a magistrate judge for the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Indiana. After that, Cook went on to work as a deputy prosecutor for the Lake County Prosecutor's Office, and then as a federal prosecutor as an assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Indiana.
