People Can Repair Any Device with this New Repair Guide
LOS ANGELES, CA / ACCESSWIRE / June 4, 2016 / Inventor Phillip Aiken is pleased to announce the launch of his innovative new electronic repair training guide called RepairX. As Aiken noted, technicians and DIY'ers can repair any device with this repair guide, which holds screws magnetically while the object is disassembled.
"RepairX is a revolutionary magnetic repair guide like no other on the market," Aiken said, adding that although there are currently many other repair guides to choose from, only RepairX combines the best features of all of them into one convenient and easy-to-use product.
RepairX has three key features that help to set it apart from the competition. First, Aiken said, RepairX features a writable surface, unlike most others. Second, it features a patent pending magnetic tray that is used not only to prevent parts from sliding off its surface, but also to swap out repair guides by sliding them in and out of the tray. The magnetic tray comes with two universal guides—one a grid style and one a generic outline of a device—plus an erasable marker.
"Finally, it is the only repair guide on the market that color codes screws for specific repair," he said.
"If you look at any magnetic repair mat on the market, they show the screws for the entire device all at once with no specific directions on how to actually repair a device. RepairX has an easy to read interface allowing users to repair their devices efficiently and in an almost effortless fashion."
Aiken, who has a strong background in graphic design and technical skills as well as a passion for electronics, hopes that RepairX will catch on quickly in the marketplace with technicians, repair training schools and DIY electronic repairers.
In order to pay for the production costs of RepairX, Aiken recently launched a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter. He hopes to raise $25,000 through crowdfunding.
