REMINDER/Media Advisory: Minister Rickford Co-hosts Annual Meetings with Provincial and Territorial Energy and Mining Counterparts

SUDBURY, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Aug 24, 2014) - The Honourable Greg Rickford, Canada's Minister of Natural Resources and Minister for the Federal Economic Development Initiative for Northern Ontario, is co-chairing the annual Energy and Mines Ministers' Conference (EMMC) from August 24 to 26. This conference brings together federal, provincial and territorial ministers to discuss cooperation and opportunities related to energy and mines.

This year's EMMC is also co-chaired by Ontario's Michael Gravelle, Minister of Northern Development and Mines, and Bob Chiarelli, Minister of Energy.
