WINNIPEG, MANITOBA--(Marketwired - Sep 4, 2013) - Federal, provincial and territorial ministers responsible for the Canadian francophonie are meeting in Winnipeg, Manitoba, on September 4 and 5, 2013, for the 18th Ministerial Conference on the Canadian Francophonie. The theme of the conference is "Early childhood development: essential to the vitality of the French language and French-speaking cultures."
Mr. Greg Selinger, Premier of Manitoba and Minister responsible for Francophone Affairs, will chair the provincial-territorial meeting, and co-chair the federal-provincial-territorial meeting with the Honourable Shelly Glover, Minister of Canadian Heritage and Official Languages.
