Managing general agent (MGA) Redline Underwriting has unveiled a new general aviation insurance solution for the Latin American and Caribbean markets.

The offering has been developed by Redline in partnership with Allianz Commercial's UK region.

It is tailored to meet the unique needs of private, pleasure, and business aircraft operators, covering both fixed and rotor-wing aircraft.

The solution utilises distribution network and technological expertise of Redline to address the specific requirements of small and medium-sized aircraft operators in the region.

This tool, claimed to facilitate accurate underwriting guided by critical data insights, will be available for underwriting from 1 January 2025.

Redline managing director Juan Salazar said: “This launch is a significant milestone as we continue to deliver bespoke solutions to underserved aviation markets. Latin America and the Caribbean represent vibrant and growing aviation sectors with tremendous potential.

“Through our collaboration with Allianz Commercial, we are excited to combine cutting-edge underwriting technology with strategic distribution to provide innovative, reliable insurance products that meet the needs of this region.”

Redline focuses on creating customised insurance solutions for various risks, including property, casualty, aviation, and specialty sectors.

Meanwhile, Allianz Commercial, part of the Allianz group, serves medium-sized businesses, large enterprises as well as specialist risk segments.

In May 2024, Allianz Commercial was in the news for the appointment of Faith Kitchen as the new head of client relationship management for the mid-market sector.

Kitchen has been working in the insurance space for more than 25 years, which includes a 16-year stint at Zurich.

"Redline partners with Allianz for general aviation insurance" was originally created and published by Life Insurance International, a GlobalData owned brand.
