QuickLogic, Sonic Corp, BioMarin Pharmaceutical Lead Wednesday's After-Hours Movers

QuickLogic Corp. (NASDAQ: QUIK) gained 17 percent to $2.24 a share in extended trading Wednesday. As of Wednesday's closing, the semiconductor equipment maker's shares were off nearly 40 percent in the year to date and didn't issue news.

TCP International Holdings Ltd. (NYSE: TCPI) rose 13 percent to $2.08 in late trading after the company said it will file its 2014 Form 10-K on or before April 15. The lighting technology company said its quality control testing is proceeding as expected.

Willbros Group Inc. (NYSE: WG) bounced up 11 percent to $3.30 in late trading after closing down by a similar percentage. The oilfield infrastructure company missed quarterly expectations Tuesday.

Sonic Corp. (NASDAQ: SONC) rose about 6 percent after the bell to $32.98 a share. The Oklahoma-based drive-in restaurant chain didn't offer any news.

Synta Pharmaceuticals Corp. (NASDAQ: SNTA) gained 3 percent in the late session to $2.05 a share. The company priced a stock offering at $1.75.

BioMarin Pharmaceutical Inc. (NASDAQ: BMRN) bounced 3 percent in late trading after closing down by a similar amount. On Monday, the company published results of a study on its attention deficit hyperactivity treatment.

Edap Tms SA (NASDAQ: EDAP) fell 10 percent to $3.25. The France-based medical device maker posted quarterly results.

Merrimack Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: MACK) fell more than 4 percent to $11.50. The biotech company didn't issue news.

Conatus Pharmaceuticals Inc. (NASDAQ: CNAT) fell 4 percent to $6.51 after the company proposed a public offering of stock.

Helix Energy Solutions Group Inc. (NYSE: HLX) fell 4 percent to $14.33 in late trading on no news.
