The Renters’ Rights Bill, due to become law this summer, will give tenants more protection. However landlords will still have grounds for repossession in circumstances such as needing to sell or occupy the property themselves.
If you're a tenant wanting security plus lots of other benefits, why not try a build-to-rent home that's designed specifically to be rented?
"Build-to-rent (BTR) is completely transforming the rental experience, offering high-quality, professionally managed homes that truly put renters first," said Anne-Marie Brown, founder and CEO of Love to Rent, a portal specialising in this type of property.
"Unlike traditional rentals, BTR provides long-term security, on-site maintenance and energy-efficient living. With flexible leasing options and homes built to exceptional standards, it is setting a new benchmark for modern renting. But it’s not just about the homes. BTR developments create real communities and fantastic amenities that enhance overall wellbeing."
These are some of the build-to-rent options out there at the moment.
